more sketchbook images. i think i am putting these in my breadth. i am still experimenting with layers and different materials. i have also had a lot of fun trying to create different textures with paint.

ok....here is my check list:

*Spa Salts-needs to be finished

*Hand Bones
and now i have to figure out two other pieces. i have one started that is inspired by the blooming this spring. but i am not sure what the other is going to be. and they all have to be done by the 24th!!!! i have so much work ahead. any suggestions for my last piece? should i stay with the flowers or move on?

i am completely out of money and my mom's birthday was on sunday so.... i thought i would make her something that would hopefully be fridge worthy. this is what i came up with. i used a canvas that i already had painted the background for and then layered with images of daffodils in ink. i was pretty happy with the end result-i am finally understanding the meaning of mark making in time for my last four concentration pieces.

I did some painting on friday night. The first two are more complete than the others but I am not sure that they are done. suggestions? I also don't know if i should go in the same direction with the yellow and blue ones as i did with the brown and reddish ones. stay with the sharpie/sketchy/ness of the other two or no?

Just a few pieces I have been working on. The top three are a series. I really like the simplicity in all of them but I am afraid that they look too unfinished. ideas?
